Eli Scherr was reelected presi-
dent of Detroit's Jewish Na-
tional Fund Council for a
two-year term. Mr. Scherr has
been involved with the Allied
Jewish Campaign, American
Friends of Bar-Ilan University,
Technion 2000, JARC and the
United Jewish Charities Col-
lege Scholarship Fund. He has
represented the Detroit Coun-
cil of Jewish National Fund at
national conferences.

Sets Graduation
The International Institute for
Secular Humanistic Judaism
will graduate its first class of
nine students from its Leader-
ship Program on Oct. 30 at the
Birmingham Temple in con-
junction with the biennial
meeting of the International
Federation of Secular Human-
istic Jews/North American Sec-
tion.

Events Set
The Men's Club of Congrega-
tion B'nai Moshe will hold a din-
ner meeting at the synagogue
