Kimball

Hitsky will graduate with
eight varsity letters in swim-
ming, soccer, tennis and water
polo, is a member of the Na-
tional Honor Society and is a
National Merit commended
student. He is a past presi-
dent of L'Chaim A.Z.A. He
played trombone in the
Groves band and orchestra
and the Metropolitan Youth
Symphony. He will attend the
University of Michigan Col-
lege of Engineering.

Hooker will attend DePaul
University on academic
scholarship and will major in
computer science. She was on
Western's gymnastics team
for four years and is a
member of the National
Honor Society.

Israel has held several posi-
tions in Shoshanna BBG. She
played tennis for North Far-
mington and studied piano
for nine years. She will attend
the University of Michigan
and study engineering.

Kline, summa cum laude,
participated in drama (I.T.S.),
National Honor Society,
Business Professionals of
America, S.A.D.D., marching
band color guard and Human-
ities Club. She tutored and
volunteered at Temple Israel.
She was active on the Temple
Israel youth group board for
the past three years. She will
study business at the Univer-
sity of Michigan.

Korn's debate team won first
place in the state Class A
championships in 1990-91; se-
cond place in 1991-92. With
drama club, she was vice
president and had the lead in
My Fair Lady. As president,
vice president and religious
and cultural board member of
the MSTY youth group of
Congregation Shir Tikvah,
she has led services
numerous times. Lauren
plans to become a lawyer.

Kovsky is valedictorian, an
NHS member, Phi Beta Kap-
pa and a National Merit
scholar. She is yearbook copy
editor, past editor of the
school newspaper, involved in
forensics and past president of
Club of Nations. She won
several writing awards,
League of Jewish Women's
Youth Award, and the Bronf-
man Youth Fellowship in
Israel. Kovsky will attend
Harvard University.

Andover

Leichtman is active at Mat
Shalom Synagogue as USY
religion/education vice presi-
dent. Last summer, she
toured Israel and Poland on a
Holocaust seminar. She
played basketball and ran
track at Andover, works,
tutors students, attends
Hebrew school, and
volunteers in community ser-
vice. She will attend the
University of Michigan.

North Farmington

Litberg has held six leader-
ship positions in BBYO, in-
cluding president of Shira
BBG this year. She attended
two BBYO international sum-
mer leadership conferences.
She plans to pursue a medical
career, attending either
Michigan State University or
Brandeis.

Southfield-Lathrup

Little is involved with
Students Against Drunk
Driving, Senior Board, Stu-
dent Caucus, National Honor
Society and Scholars Plus.
She studied Hebrew in high
school. This is her fourth year
in Shoshanna BBG and she
served as president, vice
president, newspaper editor
and community service chair-
woman. She will enter
Michigan State University to
pursue a degree in nursing.

Lahser

Littmann is a National
Merit finalist and president of
Lahser's National Honor
Society. As president of Birm-
ingham Temple's Youth
Group, he helped organize
service projects and a na-
tional youth conclave. A
trumpet player, he has par-
ticipated in Lahser's band, or-
chestra and jazz band as well
as the Detroit Civic Or-
chestra. He will attend the
University of Chicago.
