Frankel will continue her
studies in Israel at B'nos
Chava Seminary for Thachers.
She was active in the dance
and drama groups and was
head of the school's produc-
tion. She received the Phi
Beta Kappa certificate and
the Michigan Competitive
Scholarship.
Franklin is editor of the
yearbook, had a lead role in
the school play and was on
the debate team for three
years. He was captain of the
Quiz Bowl team and math
team and a member of Stu-
dent Caucus, Senior Class
Board, Humanities Club, and
S.A.D.D. He has also taught
science enrichment classes to
elementary school students.
With distinction as a Na-
tional Scholar, he will attend
Harvard University.
Friedenzohn was active in
the B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization and played on
the tennis and soccer teams
at West Bloomfield. She
studied the cello for 10 years
and will attend the Universi-
ty of Michigan this fall.
Galed participated in Con-
gregation Shir Tikvah's high
school programs and in Troy
Area Temple Youth. At
Berkley, she is president of
the A Cappella Choir and ac-
tive in the Patterns literary
magazine. She was on the
high school swim team for
four years, and was captain
for the last two. She will at-
tend the University of
Michigan Residential/Honors
College.
Gelman is Phi Beta Kappa
and a National Merit Scholar-
ship finalist. He has been a
member of the Groves tennis
team for four years and has
participated twice in the Mac-
cabi Games. Last summer he
traveled to Israel with BBYO.
He will attend the Universi-
ty of Michigan College of
Engineering.

Gordon is class historian
and secretary of the National
Honor Society at Groves. She
is a section editor of the year-
book, a member of E.C.O.,
C.A.R.E., and the girls' soc-
cer team and volunteers at
Prentis Manor. She is a
regional board member of
U.S.Y., attended U.S.Y. Israel
Pilgrimage/Poland Seminar
this past summer, and plans
to staff at Ramah this sum-
mer. Gordon will attend
Brandeis.
Goulson has received many
scholastic awards including
Phi Beta Kappa. She is active
in the Beth Jacob Chessed
Program and is the leader of
the Beth Jacob dance troupe.
She plans to continue her
Jewish education by studying
for a year in Israel.
Grossberg is graduating
fourth in her class and is cap-
tain of the pompon squad, of
which she's been a member
for three years. She par-
ticipated in the Nacel Ex-
change program and spent a
month living with a family in
France. She enjoys jazz and
tap dancing. She will attend
the University of Michigan
and study pre-medicine.
Harris is editor-in-chief of
Expressions, the creative arts
magazine, editor of the year-
book, secretary of the senior
class, and involved in Student
Caucus, Interact community
service club and SADD. She is
a member of National Honor
Society and Scholar's Plus,
president of Central States
Young Judaea and secretary
of Lahav USY at Beth Achim.
She will attend the Universi-
ty of Pennsylvania.
Hearshen is a member of
the French Club, French Na-
tional Honor Society, Na-
tional Honor Society and was
a varsity cheerleader for 21/2
years. She is a member of the
marching and symphony
bands and has done volunteer
work at the Clawson Library.
She belongs to Temple
Emanu-El. She will attend
the University of Michigan
College of Literature, Science
and Arts.
