series of events.

Hot 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m Nov.

Hillel will hold Israeli Dan-
cing 8-10 p.m. Nov. 10, follow-
ed by open dancing. Begin-
ners and advanced are
welcome. There is a charge.
Hillel will hold an Israel In-
formation Day 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Nov. 11. Meet with Sivan
Maas, representative of the
Israel Resource Center, who
will answer questions about
programs in Israel. For an ap-

Joel Bainerman, advocate
for a free-market economy in
Israel and a former economic
editor for the Jerusalem Post,
will present a lecture entitl-
ed Israelei Econ 201: Jews,
Arabs, Money and Peace 7:30
p.m. Nov. 11. This event is co-
sponsored by USI and AZYF.
A representative from the
Cleveland Fellows Program
will be at Hillel 5 p.m. Nov.
14. The program is a
graduate program to recruit
and train young men and
women for careers in Jewish
education. Daniel Pekarsky,
director of the program, will

Study Session will meet 7

old country and the Canadian

economics editor of the
Jerusalem Post, will deliver a
lecture on "Is There a Solu-
tion to the Arab-Israeli
Crisis?" noon, Nov. 11, in the
Fireside Lounge, Oakland
Center, Oakland University.
Following the lecture, there
will be a deli lunch in Gold
Room A. There is a charge for

The third part of "Roots of
Racism," a panel discussion
on the psychological perspec-
tives of the issue, will be held
noon Nov. 13 in the Fireside
Lounge. Panelists will be Dr.
Robert Fink, Toni Sanchez-
Murphy, Indra David, and
Eleanor Llewelyn Reynolds.

Thanksgiving drop-in kosher

Hosts Events

B'nai B'rith Hillel of East
Lansing will host a series of
upcoming events.
Hillel will sponsor a Shab-
bat dinner 7 p.m. Nov. 8
followed by a game of Jewish
Jeopardy. There is a charge;
reservations are required.
The Student Coalition for
Israel will host an Israeli
culture night with a falafel
dinner and dancing 6 p.m.
Nov. 10. There is a charge.
Hillel and the Student
Coalition for Israel will spon-
sor Joel Bainerman, former
economics editor of the
Jewish Post, to speak about
"Economic Dimensions of the
Middle East Conflict" 7 p.m.
Nov. 12 in Room 335 A&B
South Case Hall.
Zoe Olefsky from Hebrew
University will hold an infor-
mation meeting for students
who wish to study at Hebrew
U. 7 pm. Nov. 13 at Hillel;
refreshments will be served.
Hillel will sponsor a challah
bake and "L.A. Law" night,
7 p.m. Nov. 14.
