19 at the Ritz Carlton Dear-
born, with a portion of this
year's proceeds creating an
endowment fund for a fellow-
ship position at MCF in the
name of Dr. Michael Bren-
nan, its first president from
1966 until this year, who
retired and is now president
emeritus . . . His successor,
Dr. Vainutis Vaitkevicius (Dr.
V) served his own fellowship
under Mike in the late 1950s
at Detroit Institute for
Cancer Research, which
merged with Michigan Can-
cer Registry and Yates
Memorial Clinic to become
Michigan Cancer Foundation
