pointed special gifts chair-
man and Linda Moss as lun-
cheon chairman by the B'nai
B'rith Women Council.
Mrs. Ross is a past presi-
dent of BBW Council, an ex-
ecutive board member of the
Hillel Foundation at Wayne
State University. She is a
board member of American
Women for Bar-Ilan Universi-
ty and on the board of Con-
gregation B'nai Moshe.
Mrs. Moss is also a Council
past president, a member of
Galilee Chapter BBW and the
Jewish Professional Network
BBW.
The annual Special Gifts
luncheon will be held Oct. 30
at Knollwood Country Club.
Honorees will be Rita and
John Haddow. There is a
charge.

Detroit Chapter
Plans Anniversary
The Greater Detroit
Chapter of Hadassah will pre-
sent its 75th anniversary
opening meeting 10 a.m. Oct.
8 at Temple Beth El. The day
will begin with clothing and
gift items offered by 20 bouti-
ques. Luncheon will follow at
noon.
Phyllis Berlas, Central
States Region president of
Hadassah, will speak on
Hadassah's National Conven-
tion which was held in Israel
this past summer. Barbara
Gutman, chapter president,
will give welcoming remarks.
Hadassah speaker will be
photojournalist and broad-
caster, Linda Solomon. She is
the national spokesperson for
the Photography Information
Council and has been a
Detroit News columnist and
photographer. She has work-
ed as features editor of
Detroit's CBS television af-
filiate. She will present a
slide show and talk about her
work with famous per-
sonalities in the world of
politics, entertainment,
business and professional
athletics.
Following Ms. Solomon's
presentation, the boutiques
will re-open until 3:30 p.m.
The day is co-chaired by
Shelley Boschan and Suzanne
Noveck, program vice presi-
dents. Barbara Ben is bouti-
que chairman.
