Mrs. Ross is a past presi- dent of BBW Council, an ex- ecutive board member of the Hillel Foundation at Wayne State University. She is a board member of American Women for Bar-Ilan Universi- ty and on the board of Con- gregation B'nai Moshe. Linda Solomon Detroit Chapter Plans Anniversary The Greater Detroit Chapter of Hadassah will pre- sent its 75th anniversary opening meeting 10 a.m. Oct. 8 at Temple Beth El. Phyllis Berlas, Central States Region president of Hadassah, will speak on Hadassah's National Conven- tion which was held in Israel this past summer. Barbara Gutman, chapter president, will give welcoming remarks. Hadassah speaker will be photojournalist and broad- caster, Linda Solomon. She is the national spokesperson for the Photography Information Council and has been a Detroit News columnist and photographer. She has work- ed as features editor of Detroit's CBS television af- filiate. She will present a slide show and talk about her work with famous per- sonalities in the world of politics, entertainment, business and professional athletics. Following Ms. Solomon's presentation, the boutiques will re-open until 3:30 p.m. The day is co-chaired by Shelley Boschan and Suzanne Noveck, program vice presi- dents.
