JSO Wins
Student Awards

The Jewish Students
Organization (JSO) won the
Cooperative Programming
Award March 22 in the
category of "Programming
Achievement" at the recent
"Student Organizations
Recognition Night" at
Oakland University. The JSO
was nominated for five
awards, including most in- •
novative program and
organizational excellence. In
addition, Sandy Loeffler, ex-
tension director/adviser won
"The Link Award" presented
to faculty, staff and others
"who contribute greatly to
student organizations by
their exceptional involvement
and commitment."
Both awards were presented
by the Campus Information,
Programs and Organizations
Office of Oakland University.
The Jewish Students
Organization is an extension
of the B'nai B'rith Hillel
Foundations of Metropolitan
Detroit.
