Party planner Roz Stern
will address the Congregation
Beth Shalom Sisterhood at
10:15 a.m. Dec. 11 at the
synagogue.
Mrs. Stern will present
visual displays, including a
balloon arch, decorations and
favors. She will provide ideas
about organizing a wedding,
bar/bat mitzvah celebration
and a surprise party.
Refreshments will be serv-
ed. The public is invited free

Parkwood Has
Chanukah Party
Women's American ORT,
Parkwood Chapter, will have
a Chanukah latke party and
candlelighting on Wednesday
at noon at the Knob Woods
club house.
Cantor Marcie Shulman

The sisterhood of Adat
Shalom Synagogue will spon-
sor a bus trip to the Detroit
Institute of Arts, which will
feature a private tour of
Jewish history through art
and a gourmet lunch, on Dec.
13, leaving Adat Shalom at
10:30 a.m.
Docents Betsy Loomus and
Malca Wechsler will lead the
tour. Reservations are limited
to the first 45 who respond.
There is a fee, which in-
cludes transportation and
