Nursery Has
New Classes

Three new classes will open
at Temple Emanu-El Nursery
School in January. A "Thrrific
Thts" class, for children age 2
to 2 1/2, without parents, will
begin Jan. 9. A parent-tot
class for toddlers with
parents, will begin Jan. 10;
and "Different Strokes," art
and science, woodworking
and cooking enrichment class
will begin Jan. 12.
The Terrific Tots class
meets Monday and Thursday
mornings. Children can at-
tend once or twice a week
with an optional lunch pro-
gram available. The class in-
cludes art, music, motor play
and free time.
Parent-tot is for children ac-
companied by an adult and
will meet on Tuesday morn-
ings for 12 weeks.
"Different Strokes" is an
enrichment class for children
age 4 and 5. There are limited
openings in this program
which will meet every Thurs-
day at 10 a.m. The class will
run for 12 weeks.
Thmple Emanu-El Nursery
School will begin enrollment
in its day camp at the end of
January. Three three-week
sessions will be offered, and
extended care will be
available.
Co-directors of the nursery
school are Michaelyn Silver-
man and Rena Cohen. Call
the temple, 967-4020, for
information.

Akiva To Have
Sports Night

Akiva Hebrew Day School
will hold its annual family
sports night on Saturday at
8:30 p.m. at the Compuware
Arena in Oak Park.
Admission fee includes
skating, walleyball and rac-
quetball. Live music will be
provided and mime Michael
Lee will entertain.
Kosher refreshments will
be available for purchase.
"Express" skate rental
begins at 8:15. Tickets will be
available at the door, or by
calling Sarina 'Steinmetz,
968-3663, for reservations
and information.

Primrose Women
Meet Monday

The Primrose Benevolent
Club will meet noon Monday
in the Lincoln Thwers Apts.
club room.
The club will celebrate
Chanukah and the victory
donor luncheon at noon Dec.
21 at Farina's.
