engagement of their
daughter, Jodi Lynn, to Dr.
Keith Milman Tobin, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Marshall E.
Tobin of Birmingham.
Jodi earned a bachelor of
arts degree from the Univer-
sity of Michigan. She is
employed with Campbell and
Co., a public relations firm in
Dearborn.
Keith received a bachelor of
science degree from Michigan
State University and is
finishing his medical educa-
tion at the University of New
England College of
Osteopathic Medicine.
A June wedding is planned.

Fleischman Will Host
Detroit Interfaith Unit
Each year, the Women's
Division of the Greater
Detroit Interfaith Round
Table of the National Con-
ference of Christians and
Jews holds a special meeting
at a location out in the com-
munity to learn about an
aspect of a particular culture.
This year, Ceil Kliger Ruda,
a Jewish Home for Aged
(JHA) board member and
Round Table Women's Divi-
sion special projects chairper-
son, has arranged for the
group to meet at the JHA
Fleischman Residence on
Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m. to see
how the Jewish community
provides for its elderly
through geriatric care and
living accomodations. A con-
tinental breakfast and lunch
will be served.
Following a greeting by
Carol Rosenberg, administra-
tor of the JHA Fleischman
Residence, Alan S. Funk, the
home's executive vice presi-
dent, will provide an overview
of aging along with a brief
history of the JHA's 80 years
of caring for the elderly.
During the program,Bob
Arcand, Round Table ex-
ecutive director. will present

Gussow, uncle of Mrs.
Gussow's late husband,
depicts Jewish holiday tradi-
tions. Arthur Lipsitt, a resi-
dent of JHA Borman Hall for
the past 12 years, will speak
on life at a nursing home and
the concept of brotherhood.

Institute
The volunteer services
department of Jewish Family
Service and Resettlement
Service will hold its 17th an-
nual volunteer institute on
Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the
Jewish Family Service
Building.
Keynote speaker will be
Robert Bernstein, executive
director of geriatric screening.
Dr. Bernstein will address
"Retirement — A Time to
Rediscover." The program will
include a continental
breakfast and is open to all
Jewish Family Service and
Resettlement Service volun-
teers free of charge.
