LOCAL NEWS I Fleischman Will Host Detroit Interfaith Unit Each year, the Women's Division of the Greater Detroit Interfaith Round Table of the National Con- ference of Christians and Jews holds a special meeting at a location out in the com- munity to learn about an aspect of a particular culture. This year, Ceil Kliger Ruda, a Jewish Home for Aged (JHA) board member and Round Table Women's Divi- sion special projects chairper- son, has arranged for the group to meet at the JHA Fleischman Residence on Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m. to see how the Jewish community provides for its elderly through geriatric care and living accomodations. A con- tinental breakfast and lunch will be served. Following a greeting by Carol Rosenberg, administra- tor of the JHA Fleischman Residence, Alan S. Funk, the home's executive vice presi- dent, will provide an overview of aging along with a brief history of the JHA's 80 years of caring for the elderly.
