College, Hartford, Conn.
Selma Goode will be
honored "for her many con-
tributions" to the communi-
ty. Ms. Goode has served for
many years as the chairman
of the Workmen's Circle
District Committee. She is
the executive director of the
Detroit branch of the Jewish
Labor Committee.
She was the principal
organizer of the Westside
Mothers, a welfare rights
group, now over 2,000
members strong.
