JPI To Celebrate
Chanukah Sunday
The Jewish Parents Insti-
tute will hold its annual
Chanukah Celebration, 10:15
a.m. Sunday, at the Jewish
Community Center in West
Bloomfield. The festivities
will begin with a special
candle-lighting ceremony in
DeRoy Theater, followed by
skits, songs and dances, pre-
sented by the children from
the Jewish Parents Institute's
Sunday school.
Latkes and other delicacies
will be served at about 11
a.m. The morning will con-
clude with a Chanukah crafts
workshop, where children
will be given the opportunity
to create Chanukah decora-
tions and crafts to take home.
The celebration is open to
the public with advance

DR. LOWELL M. WEINER
has been named senior vice
president and chief medical
officer of Group Health Plan,
a 45,000 member health
maintenance organization,
and SelectCare, a preferred
provider organization with
70,000 enrollees. In his new
post, Dr. Weiner is responsi-
ble for health care delivery
for both organizations.
