from Hin'ni: the Hazzan's prayer

WISH THEIR FRIENDS AND
THE ENTIRE JEWISH COMMUNITY
ESPECIALLY THE MEMBERSHIP OF
YOUNG ISRAEL OF SOUTHFIELD

For centuries, Hazzanim offered this prayer as an
introduction to the Musaf service on Rosh
Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Today, standing on
the threshold of the year 5747, we ask that,
"there be no obstacle in our prayer" for peace
and understanding among our brothers and all
mankind.
