Dr. and Mrs. Robert (Ann)
Schiff of Birmingham cele-
brated their 60th wedding
anniversary on Aug. 15.
They were honored at a
champagne brunch at Kings-
ley Inn by their children: Dr.
and Mrs. Nathan Rubin of
West Bloomfield and Mr. and
Mrs. Milton Barnett of
Franklin.
Their grandchildren are:
Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Kauf-
man, Dr. and Mrs. Larry Ru-
bin, Vicki Barnett, Mark
Steckloff, Mr. and - Mrs.
Ronald Holton, Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Schwartz and the late
Kenneth Rubin.
The Schiffs have ten
great-grandchildren.
Dr. Schiff is still active in
dentistry and he and Mrs.
Schiff are involved in com-
munity affairs. The Schiffs

Dora and Gerald Sparr

Sparr 50th

Dora and Gerald Sparr of
Farmington Hills were re-
cently honored, on the occa-
sion of their 50tli anniver-
sary, at a family dinner party
hosted by their children,
Joanne and Morton Goldberg
of West Bloomfield and
Richard and Janice Sparr of
Bloomfield Hills. The party
was held at the home of their
son.
Taking part in the celebra-
tion were granddaughters
Helene and Lori Goldberg

and Neive Sparr. Out-of-town
guests included Ceil Glick,
sister of Mrs. Sparr.
Mrs. Sparr, a native of
London, England, met her <
husband in Detroit, and mar-
ried him on Aug. 16, 1936.
She is a member of Ladies of
Mosaic, Hadassah and the
Naomi Girls..
Sparr, a retired general c_-<
contractor, was born in Mil-
waukee, Wis. He is a 32nd -\
degree Mason and a member
of Mosaic Lodge.
