Seth Faber Twins
His Bar Mitzvah

Seth Adam Faber, son of
Dr. and Mrs. Gary Faber of
West Bloomfield, will become
bar mitzvah at Temple Israel
at 8 p.m. services today.
Seth will symbolically twin
his ceremony with Evgeny
Molchanov of the Soviet
Union. Evgeny, the son of
Leonid and Galina Mol-
chanov, lives in Kiev with his
mother. His father emigrated
from the USSR in 1978.
Mother and son have both
been refused visas.
Seth is a student at Or-
chard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield.

Women Celebrate
B'not Mitzvah

Two women will celebrate
their b'not mitzvah at Cong.
T'chiyah on Saturday.
Naomi Pinchuk and Ilana
Wolfson have been studying
for the occasion since last
January. They will lead the
Shabbat morning services
and chant the Torah portions
and Haftorah readings.
