health, education, etc. Neverthe-
less, it slipped his mind that
many Arab students received
scholarships at the Hebrew
University and other institu-
tions. Arab members of the His-
tadrut (labor union) earn the
same wages as their Jewish
counterparts.
Mr. Darawshi used with ease
the terms equality, democracy
and occupation of Yehuda and
Shomron (West Bank for Mr.
Darawshi) and calling ex-
tremists Ariel Sharon, Gush
Emunim and Kahane by saying
"I believe we have to exclude
Kahane from the democratic
system as he doesn't believe in
it." While accusing the above
with undemocratic and ex-
tremist behavior he seems to
forget to exclude and to state his
opposition to the murderers of
Jewish children, women and
men by the "democrats, pacifists
and moderates" such as Arafat,
Abu Nidal and their supporters.
Can Mr. Darawshi point out
when Arab groups in Israel,
Arab countries or even in the
U.S. protested the killing of in-
nocent Jews?
Mr. Darawshi would do best
to appear before an Arab public
in Dearborn and in other places
in the country. Doing so, his lec-
tures should also include the
positive side of Israel

The New Rise
Of Neo-Nazism

While I agree with Mr.
Drissman's views of protecting
and defending the State of Is-
rael, maintaining it as a Jewish
homeland (Letters, March 21), I
would not like to see his group
or any Jewish political faction
'lose sight of what is happening
in the Diaspora; i.e. the State of
Illinois and France.
The Democratic Party of Il-
linois did us all a favor by
allowing their group to fall into
such disarray, thus allowing the
voters of that state to choose
neo-Nazis. We are now aware of
who the enemy is. We know
their names and faces. We hear
them loud and clear. The enemy
is no longer hidden.
The LaRouche organization
plays to all our fears. Yes, I am
afraid of AIDS. Yes, I am aware
of the enormous wealth of the
drug dealers and what drugs are
doing to our nation. Yes, I am
concerned about the 89 multi-
national corporations and their
powerful role in international
politics. However, I can't allow
my fears to discriminate against
homosexuals, against blacks,
against Jewish-connected banks
and businesses. Mr. LaRouche
has touched the very nerve cen-
ter of America's fears just as
Hitler did in German politics.
France, too, has elected an
ultra-conservative leader with
anti-Semitic views. His target of
hatred includes the four million
Muslims residing in that nation.
In order to curtail Mr.
LaRouche's activities, we all
must become better informed.
