We're going
to help you
look terrific.
give extensive coverage to a
controversial religious leader,
Rev. Falwell (March 21). It is
incredible, however, that you
would limit your coverage to
Falwell's well-prepared com-
ments and to the comments of a
few Jewish leaders who happen
to agree with him.
Aside from a passing refer ,
ence to Norman Lear, your arti-
cle fails to articulate the views
of many other Jewish leaders,
who hold views sharply opposed
to Rev. Falwell and the rabbis
whom you quoted. Presenting
only one side of an issue is
never good journalism. The
error is compounded when a
Jewish publication presents
without refutation the views of
a man whom many Jews regard
as a threat to their security.

Paper Rebuffed
Righteous Gentile
Much has been written about
the Holocaust, and the righteous
gentiles who put their lives on
the line to save the lives of
Jews. Recently; Ignacy
Chorazyczwski from Ham-
tramack, a recipient of a medal
for heroism presented to him by
the State of Israel, passed away.
His family invited a Jewish
friend to give a eulogy for the
widow and children.
The oldest son, Zachary,
called the Jewish Community
Center, notifying them about
the death of his father. No effort
was made in pursuing the in-
formation or even to express
sympathy tnward one who is so
precious; there are so few of
them.
He also called The Jewish
News, hoping the Jewish weekly
newspaper would care to know,
show some interest or at least
notify our community about the
death of his father. Unfortu-
nately, his request was turned
down.
While we cry out for justice,
where is our gratitude and re-
verence for a chosen hero?

M. Darawshi's
Picture Of Israel
I was impressed with the sin-
cerity of the Arab-Israeli ac-
tivist (March 14). I must say
Mr. Mohammed Darawshi is
very clever in playing on the
minds of the Jewish audience
and especially on the minds of
the self-destructive "progressive
Zionists."
Speaking, about equality he
said, "I am not here to be nice"
and he kept his word. He only
had demands for the govern-
ment of Israel, but, not a word
about the many improvements
