The Akiva Hebrew Day
School basketball team won its
second game of the season, de-
feating the Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah team, 102-24. Akiva
won its first game against Beth
Yehudah, 50-14.
The Akiva cagers are
scheduled to play the Akiva
alumni, the Skokie (Ill.)
Yeshivah, and the Jewish
Community Center varsity
teams.
Moshe Rose, Akiva coach and
manager, said he is eager to
match his players against other
local basketball teams, and he
invited other teams to get in
touch with him to schedule
possible games.
For information, call Rose,
557-2458; or the Akiva office,
552-9690.
