Di. Chaim Stolovitch

Dr. Chaim Stolovitch will lead

High Holy Day services at
Young Israel of Oak-Woods,
Phillip Applebaum, Oak-Woods
president announced.
Stolovitch has had extensive
experience as a cantor in his na-
tive Tel Aviv, where he and his
family are members of Young
Israel of Tochnit Lamed.
A graduatl, of Tel Aviv Uni-
versity, where he earned an

.

M.D. degree, Stolovitch has been
in the United States since 1984
on a medical fellowship. He
practices in the Detroit Medical
Center, where he specializes in
pediatric ophthalmology at the
Kresge Eye Institute and Chil-
dren's Hospital.
Stolovitch holds the rank of
major in the Israel Defense
Forces Medical Corps. During
active duty, he ,served as the
military physician in charge of
the Eilat region.
Tickets for the High Holy
Days are available at Oak-
Woods on Sundays, 10 a.m.-
noon, and Monday-Thursday,
6:30-8 p.m. For information, call

the winner of laiit ,week's Bur-
roughs Farms Golf Cham-
pionship for children age 11-12.

The nine-hole tournament was
staged at the Burroghe Farms
Golf Course in Brighton.
