Di. Chaim Stolovitch Dr. Chaim Stolovitch will lead High Holy Day services at Young Israel of Oak-Woods, Phillip Applebaum, Oak-Woods president announced. Stolovitch has had extensive experience as a cantor in his na- tive Tel Aviv, where he and his family are members of Young Israel of Tochnit Lamed. A graduatl, of Tel Aviv Uni- versity, where he earned an . M.D. degree, Stolovitch has been in the United States since 1984 on a medical fellowship. He practices in the Detroit Medical Center, where he specializes in pediatric ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute and Chil- dren's Hospital. Stolovitch holds the rank of major in the Israel Defense Forces Medical Corps. During active duty, he ,served as the military physician in charge of the Eilat region.
