AJCampaign Management Group Formed

The 1986 Allied Jewish Cam-
paign Management Committee
is in place, and the chairmen
have been named by General
Chairmen Paul D. Borman and
Stanley D. Frankel.
Members of the Campaign
Management Committee, who
chair the various Campaign
functions, include Marvin H.
Goldman, Michael W. Maddin,
Dr. David Harold, Edie Mittent-
hal, N. Brewster Broder, Shelby
Tauber, Ellen Labes, Dr. Martin
Hart, Benjamin F. Rosenthal,
Dr. Conrad L. Giles and Michael
S. Feldman.
This year's division chairmen
are Nathan Greenberg and
Howard J. Tapper, Mercantile
and Food; Herbert L. Rechter,
Industrial and Automotive; Neil
A. Satovsky and Alan J.
Hayman, Real Estate and Build-
ing Trades; Dr. John D. Marx,
Professional Health; Irwin M.
Alterman, Professional Services;
William Q. Graham and Jerald
Kaufman, Metropolitan; Sharon
Hart, Women's; and Young
Adult Division President, David
B. Liner.
Goldman, who heads the cash
committee, is a former chairman
of the Campaign and led its
Industrial and Automotive Di-
vision. He is on the boards of
Federation, Sinai Hospital and
the Jewish Home for Aged.
Maddin, Chairman of mis-
sions, is president of the Fresh
Air Society, and sits on Federa-
tion's board of governors. He is
a former pre-Campaign chair-
man and chairman of the Real
Estate and Building Trades Di-
vision.
Dr. Harold is chairman of new
gifts. He has headed the Medical
Section of the Professional
Health Division, co-chaired Fed-
eration's Hadracha program and
was area chairman of the UJA
Young Leadership Cabinet.
Ms. Mittenthal, who is in
charge of worker recruitment
and training, is a board member
of Federation's Women's Di-
vision and chairman of the
Business and Professional
Women's Development Commit-
tee. She serves on the Jewish
Community Center board and
was a recipient of Federation's
Sylvia Simon Greenberg Young
Leadership award.
Broder, who chaired last
year's Super Sunday, will again
serve, along with Shelby
Tauber. lie has led the Cam-
paign's Real Estate and Build-
ing Trades Division, is a past
president of the Jewish Center,
where he is a lifetime board
member, and sits on the Detroit
Service Group board. Ms.
Tauber is active in Federation's
Women's Division, having
served as president and current
board member. She is on the
boards of Federation, its Com-

munity Services Division and
the Jewish Community Council,
Mrs. Wino and Dr. Hart chair

served as chairman of the Cam-
paign's Professional' Health Di-
vision last year. A recipient of
the Frank A. Wetsman Award,
he is a member of Federation's
Culture and Education Division.
Rosenthal, chairman of We
Walk as One, was a recipient of
Federation's William H. Boesky
Young Leadership Award, sits
on. Federation's Community
Services Division and has served
as president of the Young Adult
Division. He is on the United
Hebrew Schools board.
Dr. Giles, who heads the
human resource development
committee, is a Federation vice
president and has chaired the
Campaign's Professional Health
Division. A board member of
United Jewish Charities and the
Detroit Service Group, Dr. Giles
also serves as chairman of Fed-
eration's Task Force on Non-
Institutionalized Elderly.
Feldman, who heads the Had-
racha Young Leadership pro-
gram, is on Federation's Culture
and Education Division and the
board of Jewish Family Service.
Last year's worker recruitment
chairman, he has served as an
associate chairman of the Attor-
neys Section and is 'a former
area chairman of the UJA
Young Leadership Cabinet.
Greenberg, and Tapper have
been active in the Mercantile
and Food Division for several
years. Greenberg is a past asso-
ciate chairman of the Cam-
paign's former Food and Serv-
ices Division, and sits on the
boards of the DSG and JFS.
Tapper is on Federation's Cul-
ture and Education budgeting
and planning division and the
boards of the Jewish Center, the
Fresh Air Society and UHS.
A leader of the Industrial and
Automotive Division for a
number of campaigns, Rechter
has served as the division's
chairman and pre-Campaign
chairman. He serves on the DSG
board.
In the Real Estate and Build-
ing Trades Division, Satovsky
has served as vice chairman. A
William H. Boesky Young Lead-
ership Award recipient in 1977,
he was president of the Young
Adult Division that year.
Hayman sits on the DSG board
and has been active in the di-
vision for several years.
Dr. Marx returns to chair the
Professional Health Division
this year. He has served as
chairman of the division's De-
ntists and Dental Suppliers Sec-
tion.
Last year's Professional Serv-
ice Division chairman, Alterman
has also served as chairman of
the division's Attorneys Section.
A member of Federation's Cul-
ture and Education Division and
the UHS board, he has served as
chairman of the UJA Young

Leadership Cabinet,
In the Metropolitan Division,
Graham is a formar associate
chairman, Ho is a member of
