Follow these modifications in
your daily diet to reduce
chances of getting cancer:
1. Eat more high-fiber foods
such as fruits and vegetables
and whole-grain cereals.
2. Include dark green and
deep yellow fruits and vegeta-
bles rich in vitamins A and C.
3. Include cabbage, broccoli,
brussels sprouts, kohlrabi and
cauliflower.
4. Be moderate in consump-
tion of salt-cured, smoked, and
nitrite-cured foods.
5. Cut down on total fat in-
take from animal sources and
fats and oils.

Oil Slick?

Jerusalem (JTA) — Saudi
Arabia plans to resume use of
its oil "weapon" against the
Western world, members of a
mission of the council for .a Se-
cure America (CSA), told a press
conference in Jerusalem last
week.
The CSA advocates policies
aimed at assuring the survival
and growth of America's domes-
tic energy industry and a
broader-base of American sup-
port for Israel.
Mack Wallace, co-chairman of
CSA, noted that Sheik Yamani,
the Saudi oil minister, had de-
clared two years ago that Saudi
Arabi planned to use its petro-
weapon in 1987.

Dube Denied
Tenure

New York (JTA) — An official
of the Suffolk Long Island di-
vision of the American Jewish
Congress praised the decision of
the State University at Stony
Brook to deny tenure to Profes-
sor Ernest Dube, who teaches
that Zionism equates with ra-
cism, and said the division had
decided to combat Dube's teach-
ings with a corrective
guidebook.
Steven Israel, director of the
division office in Commack told
the Jewish Telegraphic Agency
in a telephone interview that,
though the university had de-
nied Dube tenure, Dube had
