Following the luncheon, Sha-
ron Hart, Women's -Division
Campaign chairman, gave the
latest figures on the division's
participation in the 1985 Allied
Jewish Campaign.
A total of $1,500,000 had been
pledged prior to the luncheon to
kick off the women's Campaign.
The women had raised $250,000
to renovate the senior citizens
center in Detroit's sister city of
Ramie, Israel, in 18 months, beat-
ing their original three-year goal.
The day-long program at the
Jewish Community Center began
with remarks by Federation
Executive Vice President Wayne
Feinstein and Julie Gurwin, asso-
ciate chairman of Institute Day.
At the luncheon, Tillie
Brandwine recited the invocation,
while Susan Marwil, chairman of
the Institute Day, welcomed the
guests. Women's Division
President Ellen Labes gave a
state-of-the-division report.

M.D. degree from Case-Western
Reserve University and Master of
Public Health degree from the
University of Michigan. She cur-
rently is in the practice of internal
medicine in Royal Oak.
Dr. Epstein received his B.A.
and B.S. degrees from Michigan
State University, M.D. degree
and Master of Public Health de-
grees from U-M. He is the medical
director of Health Plus of Michi-
gan.
