The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. David Schurgin of

Eckhous of Birmingham.
Michelle White was the maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren
Eckhous, sister of the bridegroom,
and Caryn. Satovsky and Dana
Baskin.
David Eckhous was his
brother's best man. Ushers were
Brian Schurgin, brother of the

Mrs. Sarah Smith, grand-

The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Home of Red-
ford. Parents of the bridegroom
are Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dorfman of
Farmington Hills.

maid of honor. Andrew Goldstein
was the best man.
Following a Toronto honey-
moon, the couple is residing in De-
troit.

ANNIVERSARIES

50th Anniversary

A luncheon at the Somerset Inn
was held last week in honor of the
50th wedding anniversary of Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Cantor of South-
field. Guests attended from as far
away as Jerusalem.
Joining in the celebration of the
golden anniversary of her daugh-
ter was Mrs. Cantor's mother,
Mrs. Laura Grossman, of Oak
Park.
Cantor is a CPA who has prac-
ticed in the Detroit area for many
years. Both Mr. and Mrs. Cantor
are lifelong residents of the area
and members of Cong. Beth
Achim.
The party was hosted by their
sons: George and Michael, and
their respective spouses, Sheryl
and Joyce.
