tional Council of Jewish Women,
is planning two events in Sep-
tember.
At 9:30 a.m. Wednesday a
breakfast meeting will be held in
the home of Rose Lynn Schlussel,
28755 Bell Rd., Southfield. A
prescribed minimum contribution
is required for admission.
Soloists from the Michigan
Opera Theater will present a
selection of Broadway hits.

sented at the annual paid-up
membership luncheon of the
Greater Detroit Section at noon
Sept. 18 at the Michigan Inn.
There will be a wine and cheese
reception at 11 a.m. for members
bringing new members. Members
who bring the most names and
prospective members will receive
a gift.
Fashion Spree will have a van
parked outside of the hotel to re-
ceive clean, used clothing on han-
gers to be sold at the annual fund
raiser.
Checks must accompany all
reservations. Reservation dead-

Michigan Region, Women's
American ORT, will have its fall
membership luncheon 11:30 a.m.
Wednesday at Fairlane Manor.
The membership committee is
under the leadership of Eleanor
Thal, a region past president and
chairman of the day.
Guests are invited at a charge
applicable to their dues. Each new
member who attends the lunch-
eon will receive a gift. The lunch-
eon will be highlighted by a fash-
