Yad L'achim
evening set

An "Evening for Yad
L'Achim" will be held at 8
p.m. Thursday in the home
of Dr. and Mrs. Arnold
Zuroff, 31455 Franklin
Fairway Dr., Farmington
Hills.
Yad L'Achim, which is in
the forefront of what it calls
the battle against growing
Christian proselytizing ef-
forts, is an Orthodox
yeshivah. Its functions in-
clude counseling services
for youth who have been in-
volved with missionaries or
cults, informational lec-
tures at schools arid clubs
and lobbying to block gov-
ernment support for any
organization suspected of
proselytizing.
Rabbi Aaron Twersky,
professor of law at Hofstra
Universityu and visiting
professor at the University
of Michigan, will address
the gathering.
Chairman for the evening
is Rabbi Dov Loketch. For

New York — Each of the
3,000 candidates running
for a spot on the European
Parliament has been asked
by the Anti-Defamation
League European Founda-
tion (ADLEF) to endorse the
Oslo Declaration Against
Anti-Semitism.
The ADLEF, an affiliate
of the Anti-Defamation
League of B'nai B'rith,
made the request in a letter
to candidates for the ten-
nation parliament, which
will be selected later this
month.
