Dr. Martin Cowan

Dr. Martin M. Cowan, a
dentist with offices in Far-
mington Hills, died April 21
at age 84.
Born in Canada, Dr.
Cowan was a fellow of
the Royal Society of Health
in Canada, a member of the
American Dental Associa-
tion, Michigan Dental
Society and Detroit Dental
Society. He was graduated
from the University of
Michigan Dental School in
1929.
Dr. Cowan was a life
member of the Detroit Dis-
trict Dental Society and was
listed in Who's Who in
American Dentistry.
He leaves his wife, Ei-
leen; a son, Dr. Warren; two
daughters, Mrs. David (Di-
vera) Buegeleisen and Mrs.
Martin (Marjorie) Kesten-
baum of McLean, Va.; a sis-
ter, Mrs. Esther Pearl
Williams of. Astoria, N.Y.;
eight grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
