A. Alfred Taubman has :1
been named chairman of the
Joint Venture Task Force
for the development of the
newly-named West Bloom-
field Hospital. The facility
is a 200-bed community-
based general hospital
jointly proposed by Sinai
Hospital of Detroit and
Henry Ford Hospital.
Arnold N. Kimmel,
former vice president of
administration for Sinai,
has been named director of
the joint venture.
The hospital, to be built in
West Bloomfield on the 78-
acre site of Henry Ford Hos-
pital's Edsel B. Ford Center,
will provide basic medical
and surgical services.
The plan to build the hos-
pital was announced by offi-
cials of Henry Ford and
Sinai Hospitals in De-
cember. The project is cur-
rently being reviewed by
state regulatory and plan-
ning agencies. If approved,
the hospital is expected to
open in 1987.

"Genocide," the award
winning documentary pro-
duced by the Simon Wie-
senthal Center, which will
be shown at 8 p.m. April 19
at the Maple Theater.
The documentary won an
Academy Award as the best
documentary feature.
"Genocide" is the story of
the victims and survivors of
the Holocaust, told by com-
bining original archival
footage with historical nar-
rative read by Orson Welles
and Elizabeth Taylor.

America has published a
number of Passover Hag-
gadot for persons who are
visually impaired.
Both Traditional and Re-
form versions of the Pesach
volumes are available in
large-print and braille edi-
tions. The Haggadot are
