been re-elected president of
the Jewish National Fund.

Jack Frank has been ap-
pointed manager of ad-
ministration for the Jewish
Welfare Federation of De-
troit. The announcement
was made by Philip J. Liner,
JWF director of finance and
administration.
Prior to joining Federa-
tion, Frank was head ac-
countant for the City of De-
troit, where he worked for
more than 30 years in the
areas of administration,
personnel and accounting/
finance.

The Hebrew Day School
of Ann Arbor will have a
benefit concert 7:30 p.m.
Sunday at Beth Israel Con-
gregation.
Pianist Louis Nagel will
perform, accompanied on
violin by his 12-year-old
daughter Sonya.
The program will include
pieces by Franz Schubert,
Anton Dvorak, Ernest
Bloch and Modeste Mous-
sorgsky.
Prof. Nagel received
his bachelor, master and
doctoral degrees in music
from the Juilliard School
where he studied with
Josef Raieff.
Dr. Nagel has worked
with Vladimir Ashkenazy,
and he has appeared na-
tionally as soloist with
numerous orchestras and
chamber music ensemble's.
He has been professor of
music at the University of
Michigan School of Music
since 1969. He has con-

Storm Cancels
School Meeting
About Religion

The Farmington Board of
Education meeting to dis-
cuss a school district ad-
ministration proposal on
religious groups and activi-
ties in the schools was post-
poned Tuesday because of
the winter storm.
The meeting has been re-
scheduled to 7 p.m. Dec. 20
at the Farmington High
School auditorium.
According to school offi-
cials, the proposal will not
be made public until the
meeting.
