$250 State of Israel Certifi-
cate "for the mass of U.S.
Jewry," designed to encour-
age tourism to Israel and
also help the nation's eco-
nomic development, has
been announced by Brig,
Gen. (Res.) Yehudah
Halevy, president of the Is-
rael Bond Organization.
The certificates, which
are now on sale and which
will be offered during the
High Holy Day Appeals in
the synagogues, can be
cashed by a visitor to Israel
for $300 in Israeli currency
