Jewish Student Peace Talks Try Fails

By HEIDI PRESS

students at Wayne State
University to discuss peace
with Arab students on cam-

campus was invited to the
meeting where the Jewish

Jewish students and mem-
bers of the Israel Scene
Caravan, who were on cam-

ballroom of the Student
Center Building. Three
Arab students attended, but
left as the meeting was
about to begin, Finkelman
said.
Mark Prussian, vice
president of the indepen-
dent Students for Israel
_organization at WSU,
said that the meeting was
not proposed as a public-

sincere attempt to meet
with the Arab students,

student newspaper, asked
Nezar Khalid of the Organ-

why his group would not
attend the meeting.
