ADAT SHALOM youth
groups recently held their
installation and awards
ceremony.
Officers of the Shoresh
group are: Alan Woronoff,
president; Michael Rocklin
and Jon Gold, vice
presidents; Joe Starkman,
social and membership; and
Pattie Lieberman, trea-
surer.
Migdal Tzion installed
Bruce Frank as president.
Other officers are: Jon
Greenberg, Andy Rocklin,
Libby Alpern and Marjorie
Winkleman, - vice
presidents; Hadas Reiter,
treasurer; and Melissa
Okun, secretary.
Winners of the Louis
and Lena Linden Memo-
rial Award are: Ellen
Sherman and Barry
Frank. The National
Men's Club Youth Award
went to Bruce Frank and
Howard Lupovitch won
the Ronnie Posen Youth
Award for Religious
Leadership. Elizabeth
Alpern won the Howard
Weber Youth Participant
Award.
United Synagogue Youth
Leadership Awards were
given to Tami _Litton and
Elizabeth Liwazer, fund
raising; Gail Nachman, cul-
tural- programming; Julie
Greenberg, social action;
and Amy Freedland, overall
diligent service. Susan
Sherman won the Shoresh
Leadership Award.

Beth Achim, the bus will go
to Greenfield Village 'and
the Henry Ford Museum be-
fore leaving Detroit. Host
families are asked to pro-
vide a dairy bag lunch. Call

Tiyul Bet (Bus B) will be
led by Marvin
Richardson and his staff,

Herb Marek, Tammy
Harris and Judy Edel-
man.

Sabbath youth services
have discontinued for the
summer, with the exception
of the Nitzanim group. Nit-
zanim actiVities begin at 10
a.m. Saturdays in the board
room.

BSUSY will host a bus
from the USY on Wheels
tour Tuesday. A swim and
dance party for persons who
are housing a teen will be
held at the Beacon Square
swimming pool. Persons
who are able to house a teen

synagogue parking lot at
8:15 a.m.
Lahav adviser Gary
Feinberg has arranged for
Lahav United Synagogue
Youth members to join the
Bob-Lo outing. Participants
are asked to bring a bag
lunch and money to pur-
chase a soft drink.
Beth Achim will act as
host synagogue for USY on
Wheels Tiyul B, which is
scheduled to arrive in the
Detroit area 6 p.m. Tues-
day. Host families are asked
to pick up their USY'er
guests at the synagogue
• parking lot,
At 9 p.m., host-families,
USY'ers, and Wheelniks -
are all invited to a deluxe
hot-dog dinner, dance
and swim party at the
-Beacon Square pool.
Volunteer chefs are:
David Goldis, Marshall
Hutten and Jerry Tep-
man, all members of the
youth commission.
In case of rain, the pool-
side swim-party is canceled.
However, the chefs and bar-
beque dinner and the band
will move to the youth
lounge at Beth Achim. Call

case of inclement weather.
Wheelniks should be re-
turned to the synagogue by
9 a.m. Wednesday. After
Shaharit services, Rabbi
Milton Arm will conduct a
synagogue tour, which in-
cludes the mikva. From
