leave home together and
live in an apartment .. .
house too big for just the two
. . . Carries her off stage
while both sing that mar-
riage is a very good thing
though it's far from easy.
"I Do, I Do" performed by
Nancy Gurwin and Joe
Lannen is something for the
entire family to enjoy .. .
There's much nostalgia for
husbands and wives .. .
Children look on to see a
portion of what Mom and
Dad go through . . . It is the
type of show an audience
can relate to with their own
lives . . . So many nods of
approval by the men and

women who associate var-
ious parts of this play with
themselves . . . The
dialogue (book and lyrics by
Tom Jones and mu-
sic by Harvey Schmidt),
antics and happenings seem
to touch on somebody's life
. . . and the audience loves
it.
"I Do, I Do" with Nancy
Gurwin and Joe Lannen is
fast-moving fun . . . Both
are very talented in acting,
singing, dancing (even tap)
and comedy.
The opening night
audience was enthralled
by this magnificent per-
formance in two acts by
Nancy Gurwin and Joe
Lannen . . . It is one of her
favorite shows ... which
is why Nancy Gurwin
Productions chose to do
it again ... to the delight
of so many many people.
Those who have seen "I
Do, I Do" will want to see it
again . . . by Nancy and Joe
excellently directed by
E
. *cigar Guest III . . . This is
certainly a top-notch per-
formance as Nancy and Joe
_complement each other
with oodles and oodles of ta-
lent in the two acts filled
with 19 songs and so much
comic entertainment.
Nancy and Joe perform "I
Do, I Do" every Friday and
Saturday evening at Gabe
Spina's Mama Mia Dinner
Theater in Union Lake .. .
However, special group per-
formances will be given any
night of the week except
perhaps Mondays, when
Mama Mia is closed.
The food was gdod even
though a buffet . . . There
was no cattle round-up
pushing and waitresses
were forever at the tables to
assist in all ways plus giv-
ing more coffee.
There is no doubt about
Nancy Gurwin being tops
in local theatrics . . .
Now she has a wonderful
large showcase to spread
her arms, kick her legs,
sing, act and dance.
Perhaps the most prolific
summation of "I Do, I do"
with Nancy Gurwin and Joe
Lannen was made in the
men's rest room during in-
termission .. "Boy! Isn't
w? Sure glad
this a great sho
my wife talked me into com-
ing!"
LEE AND IRV Berns-
tein of Flint want to know
where Joannie Allen is
playing piano and singing.
HAVING AN AFFAIR
without too many people?.
. . . How about maximum
six? . . . That's all Mike Al-
bert can handle in his
"world's smallest banquet
room" at Albert's Hambur-
gers, Grand River between
' Six Mile and Lahser.
