The brotherhood of Tem-
ple Beth El will again vol-
unteer at Providence Hospi-
tal on Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day.
The Temple Beth El
men's group was the first
Jewish organization in the
metropolitan area to offer
their service so Christians
could enjoy the holidays
with their families. They
have continued to work at
Providence on Easter and
Christmas since 1971.

the brotherhood.

Synagogue, Cong. Shaarey
Zedek, Cong. Beth Shalom,
Cong. Beth Israel in Flint,
Temple Emanu-El and
Hillel Day School.
Ms. Katz has also pro-
duced shows for Tu b'Shevat
and Lag b'Omer, and per-
forms secular educational
shows in the Lansing public
schools.
Her Hanuka char-
acters also include Harry
the Hebrew Hound, Pop
the Hanuka Cop, Rabbi
Aaron, Malcolm the Fal-
con who always says
"Welcome" and others.
Ms. Katz writes all her
own material but has made
only a few of the puppets in
her collection of 200. She
designs the puppets' cos-
tumes, however, and gives
in-service workshops for
teachers to show them how
to utilize puppets.
