Show Is Planned

Friends of Three Senators
Meet Sunday, Aid Elections

Michigan friends of Sena-
tors Frank Church, Birch
Bayh and Alan Cranston
will meet Sunday at an invi-
tational meeting at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. David
Hermelin to provide-finan-
cial assistance for their
campaigns for re-election.
Michigan's two Demo-
cratic Senators, Donald
Riegle and Carl Levin; is-
sued invitations for the
event and will be present on
Sunday.
They stated in their in-
vitation that they are able
to help in the campaigns
of fellow senators be-
cause Michigan has no
state-wide election this
fall.
Levin and Riegle stated,

"These men have been
targeted as vulnerable by
advocates of single-issue
politics. They are already
being attacked by powerful
and well-financed oppo-
nents."

The seventh annual Far-
mington Community Cen-
ter arts and crafts show
featuring 40 juried ex-
hibitors will be held 10
a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at the
community center. There is
no charge.

dancing class 8:30-10 p.m.
