Michigan's two Demo- cratic Senators, Donald Riegle and Carl Levin; is- sued invitations for the event and will be present on Sunday. They stated in their in- vitation that they are able to help in the campaigns of fellow senators be- cause Michigan has no state-wide election this fall. Levin and Riegle stated, "These men have been targeted as vulnerable by advocates of single-issue politics. They are already being attacked by powerful and well-financed oppo- nents."
