day in ceremonies in Flint.
Cohn, 55, received his law
degree from the University
of Michigan in 1949.
He has served as a na-
tional vice president of the
American Jewish Commit-
tee and as a leader in its De-
troit Chapter. He has
chaired Chabad-Lubavitch
functions and continues to
be active on their behalf.
Cohn served as co-
chairman of the commu-
nity relations division of
the Jewish Welfare Fed-
eration and serves on the
board of governors of
Federation and United
Jewish Charities.
He has served as a vice
chairman of the Allied
Jewish Campaign - Israel
Emergency Fund since
1974, is a past chairman of
Federation's national com-
munity relations agencies
budget and planning di-
vision, and is currently
treasurer of Federation.
He is a member of the
