Cohn to Be Sworn In Tuesday

sworn in Tuesday as a U.S.
district judge for the eastern
district of Michigan. Chief

day in ceremonies in Flint.
Cohn, 55, received his law
degree from the University
of Michigan in 1949.
He has served as a na-
tional vice president of the
American Jewish Commit-
tee and as a leader in its De-
troit Chapter. He has
chaired Chabad-Lubavitch
functions and continues to
be active on their behalf.
Cohn served as co-
chairman of the commu-
nity relations division of
the Jewish Welfare Fed-
eration and serves on the
board of governors of
Federation and United
Jewish Charities.
He has served as a vice
chairman of the Allied
Jewish Campaign - Israel
Emergency Fund since
1974, is a past chairman of
Federation's national com-
munity relations agencies
budget and planning di-
vision, and is currently
treasurer of Federation.
He is a member of the

12-hour "Bounce for Beats"

Proceeds from the event,
in which fraternity mem-
bers take pledges from the
public for time spent bounc-

the Michigan Heart Asso-
ciation.
"Bounce for Beats" is an
