Arson Here
Tied to PLO?

NEW YORK -- The New
York Post reported Monday
that Michigan is one of four
states where Arab-owned
businesses have been
burned to obtain the insur-
ance money for the Pales-
tine Liberation Organiza-
tion.
The paper said the other
states are New York, New
Jersey and California. Evi-
dence of the arson scheme
began developing two years
ago, the Post said, after a
series of fires in supermar-
kets in Brooklyn.
Neither New York fire of-
ficials nor the prosecutor's
office would comment on the
report.
