NEW YORK -- The New York Post reported Monday that Michigan is one of four states where Arab-owned businesses have been burned to obtain the insur- ance money for the Pales- tine Liberation Organiza- tion. The paper said the other states are New York, New Jersey and California. Evi- dence of the arson scheme began developing two years ago, the Post said, after a series of fires in supermar- kets in Brooklyn. Neither New York fire of- ficials nor the prosecutor's office would comment on the report.
