For decades he
idealistically and de-
votedly headed, built and
led our Jewish commu-
nity's Hebrew schools.
He, moreover, was an
outstanding Hebrew

It is, therefore, incredible
and inconceivable that no

GM Automotive Engineer

Stefan Habsburg, a senior
staff engineer on the Gen-
eral Motors Design Staff,
will address a meeting of
the Detroit Region, Ameri-
can Technion Society, 7:45
p.m. Wednesday at the
Holiday Inn, Southfield.
Habsburg, chairman of
the Automotive Body En-
gineering Activity of the
Society of Automotive En-
gineers, will speak on "Hu-
man Factors in Industrial
Design." His presentation
will be illustrated with
slides.
Meeting chairman will
be Louis Gelfand, board
member and former pres-
ident of the Detroit Chap-
ter.

sentation "To Life!", a "mus-
ical photo painting" show-
ing the work of Federation's
local member agencies.
"To Life!" was photo-
graphed by Richard Wer-
nick and set to music com-
posed by Julius Chajes, di-
rector of the Jewish Com-
munity Center Symphony
Orchestra.
The Outreach Commit-
tee's presentation includes
a talk .by a member of the
committee's Speakers'
Bureau, followed by a dis-
cussion. There is no charge.
