Louis Kay of Einstein
Lodge has a key role in the
13th annual Bnai Brith
Presidents Brunch, which
gill be held March 11 at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek in
,..cooperation with the Jewish
National Fund.
Kay is tree chairman of
Ithe Metropolitan Detroit
BB Martyrs Forest Corn
mittee and for the last two
'Fears he has been the
champion Bnai Brith tree
oalesman. He sold over
1,200- trees and purchased
250 trees himself last year.
0-- A charter member of
Einstein Lodge, he is a sur-
vivor of the Holocaust He
was seized by the Nazis at
age 14 on Yom Kippur of
1942 in Poland and he alone
emerged from six death
tramps, in which 200 rela-
pives perished. Kay estab-
lished a monument to 200
relatives and a whole com-
munity of 800 families. The
Monument is at the Chesed
Shel Eines Cemetery.

David C. Garrett, Jr., left, president and chief
executive officer of Delta Air Lines, was recently hon-
ored with. the Champion of Liberty Award by the
Anti-Defamation League of Bnai Brith. Dore Schary,
honorary national chairman of the ADL, presented
the award to Garrett. Garrett serves on the board of
the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
Delta Air -Lines also developed a program to aid the
Tay-Sachs Association.
