CHINESE RESTAURANT
Relax in the pleasant surroundings of a true Chinese Restaurant, and be assured that
we will do everything possible to make your visit an enjoyable one.
Our chefs are well trained in the art of Chinese cooking, and our menu features a wide
selection of Mandarin, Szechuan and Cantonese dishes. While our menu offers many old
favorites you are invited to experiment and try something new. Feel free to contact your
waitress if what you desire does not appear on the menu.
TIN FU is a term which originated in China's Shansi Province during the Chou Dynasty.
Scientists have discovered primitive writings on ancient bones that convey these words.
Modern translations indicate that FU means "luck." TIN has no English equivalent but
denotes "a countless or infinite amount." LAU simply means "house."
One may wonder what the Early Chinese were referring to when they used this happy
expression. Perhaps the celebration of a new born child, or just a gathering of friends and
relatives on a festive occasion.
May you have long life, happiness, health and return again and again to our Lau.
