struments created for the
largest and most magnifi-
cent movie theaters built in
the country . . Of the five,
only the one at Detroit Fox
remains in good condition
and in its original installa-
tion . . The mammoth in-
strument, which needs
seven rooms to house all of
its pipes, percussions and ef-
fects, requires coestant
maintenance . . Over the
past few years, Friends of
the Fox, a group of Detroit-
area theater pipe organ
enthusiasts, has had sev-
eral major restoration proj-
ects on the Fox Wurlitzer
. As a result, the in-
strument both plays and
sounds better than it has for
literally decades.

Inter-Faitli Talks in Canada
MONTREAL (JTA) —
The national leadership of
Hadassah-WIZO in Canada
has initiated a program to
further Christian-Jewish
dialogue.
The program will include
inviting the leaders of
Christian religious and cul-
tural organizations and the
clergy to visit Independence
Hall in Toronto, a museum
being created by
Hadassah-WIZO which will
highlight the periods im-
mediately before and after
the birth of the state of Is-
rael.
Other programs approved
by the national executive
will involve instituting na-
tional seminars for leader-
ship training, increasing
active participation of

Ad Agency Hits
Magazine Tactics
NEW YORK — Richard
Jacobs of Joseph Jacobs ad-
vertising agency in New
York has revealed that a
new publication, "Kosher
Home," has been soliciting
mailing lists and advertis-
ing from Jewish organiza-
tions.
Jacobs said the publica-
tion has been circulating a
letter, purportedly to gain
information for an article
for a marketing magazine.
"Kosher Home" then
claimed to have a circula-
tion of 500,000 based on re-
sponses to that letter.
Jacobs said "Kosher
Home" is claiming to reach
an audience not covered by
other Jewish media and is
actively soliciting advertis-
ing.

tute for Jewish Research.
Yadja Zeltman, adminis-
