Probus Award
Nominees Sought

The Probus Club of De-
troit, a service club com-
posed of Jewish business
and professional men, is
offering the annual Pro-
bus Club awards for
academic achievement at
Wayne State University
for the 15th consecutive
year. -
Two awards-will be gi-
ven, each consisting of a
$1,000 grant without re-
strictions. One will be for
a faculty member in the
natural sciences (and re-
lated professions) and
another for a representa-
tive of the humanities
(including social sciences
and allied fields).
° Final selection will be
made by a committee of
seven judges, four from
the Probus Club and
three from_ the Detroit
community.
Criteria for the selec-
tion of winners will include
their academic and pro-
fessional background and
exceptional scholastic and
research work.
Each college, school
and/or department of the
university will have an
opportunity to submit its
nominee to the office of A.
T. Bharucha-Reid, dean
and associate provost for
graduate studies. 352
