50th With Forest in Israel
Mr. and Mrs. William
Rossen of Birmingham are
establishing the William
and Lydia Rossen Family
Forest in Modin, Israel,
through the Jewish Na-
tional Fund on the occasion
of their 50th wedding anni-
versary.
Rossen has lived in De-
troit since 1911. He has been
active in the Allied Jewish
Campaign for more than 40
years, and helped organize
its Food Division. He was in
the retail food business for
nearly four decades.

Society.
A native of Boston, Lydia
Rossen is a member of

oneer Women and Adat
Shalom Sisterhood, and ac-
tive in work for the Jewish
Theological Seminary and
other causes.
They have two daughters,
Mrs. Louis (Phyliss) Tomar-
kin and Mrs. Aaron (Eunice)
Galperin; five grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
The children are honoring
their parents at a formal
dinner in early July.
