Mapped Lakes ,
Available
From MUCC

Maps of many Michigan in-
land lakes no longer are avail-
able from the Department of
Natural Resources, but can be
ordered from the Michigan
United Conservation Clubs,
P.O. Box 2235, Lansing
48911, at 75 cents each. The
equipment necessary for man-
ufacturing the maps is no
longer being used by the DN R.
Although scale and detail
vary, the maps generally show
lake outline, depth contour,
weed beds, and shoreline fea-
tures such as inlets, outlets
and channels.
An MUCC publication en-
titled "Michigan Mapped
Lakes" lists the lakes for
which maps are available, and
contains rriap order blanks.
This 80-page booklet, priced
at $1, also includes handy ref-
erence sections on Michigan
campgrounds, boat launching
sites and canoe trails, plus a
host of other useful outdoor
information.

WE ARE APPROACHING THE POINT

WHERE THE MAJORITY OF OUR TEENAGERS WILL BE
ENROLLED IN A JEWISH SCHOOL!

• •
• •

I • •

You've heard of Bar Mitzva dropouts. But have you hecird that 450

• • teenagers attend the United Hebrew Schools Central High School and •

• • the United Hebrew Schools — Shaarey Zedek affiliate.

••
• If your child will be between 13 and 19 this fall, we have a place for •

• him.

• • No prior background? No problem. We have classes on all levels.

• Superior background? No problem. We have special advanced sections. :

: Cannot attend evenings? We have late afternoon and Sunday classes.

•• Not Congregational members? That won't stand in our way.

• Has been "turned off" to Jewish education? Give us a chance to relight •

• the fires.

Worried about your child's social contacts? His Jewish attitudes? His
•• Jewish knowledge? If you're not worried, you ought to be.

• • For further information, including, if you wish, a personal interview •

• either at our office or in your home, contact either of our offices.
