Baseball Tickets
at 21 Outlets
William H. Willis, direc-
tor of Detroit Tiger baseball
ticket sales, announced the
largest network of ticket
agencies in the club's his-
tory per season has opened
up.
There will be 21 places, in
addition to the advance
ticket office at Tiger Stad-
ium, where fans can pur-
chase tickets this year. Ten
of the agencies are outlets of
the Hudson's ticket service.

VINCENZO'S
about 10 are left according ( ,
to a distressed advocate . . .
In recent state-wide compe-
tition, the Center placed in
three of four divisions . . .
winning Class C champion-
ship and being finalists in
Class B and Class D . . . AU
finished the tourney . . .
including the A team . . .
but, tells the gent, all now
belong to other clubs.
CRESCENT SHRINE
CLUB will have no more
dinner meetings at the Ra-
leigh House . . . They've
moved to Glen Oaks Golf
and Country Club on W. 13
Mile just west of Middlebelt
. . . Next affair is April 26,
with Max Sosin, Hal Gordon
and a gal singer entertain-
ing . . . Friends and mem-
bers are invited . . . Call
Abe Weinstein, 355-3100 for
reservations . . . Crescent
slogan is one of the best,
"No man stands so tall as
when he stoops to help a
crippled child."
CONGRATS PTO . .
Bennet and Sharon
Schwartz on their first an-
niversary . . . and to Hattie
Schwartz (Seymour) on her
birthday.
MASS CONFUSION
ON first day of that new
law turning right on a red
light or left into a one-way
street . . . Southfield and
10 Mile, lady wanted to turn
right on the red signal but
wasn't quite sure whether it
was okay or not . .. Squad
car pulled over and said it
was proper . . . but not by
stopping in the middle of
the road . . . Another per-
son turned left and it wasn't
a one-way street (even
though he could claim to
only be going one way) . . .
It was April Fool's Day, and
some fun boys in blue were
telling folks it was just a
joke — with straight faces
saying the law didn't go
through in their area.
AL DUBIN of Luster
Cleaners on James Couzens,
whose reputation of clean-
ing taleisim free of charge
for individuals just as his
father used to do is of com-
munity note . . . has an-
other unsung esteem very
few people know about . . .
He's considered a cleaner's
cleaner . . . "If Al Dubin
can't get the spot out," said
one, "nobody can."

LISTENING
THEIR
PARDON
BLUSH . . . say the South-
field Police . . . being duped
by a rumor monger who
claimed recent New Hori-
zons Group, City of Hope,
affair at Sheraton-South-
field was in violation of
state gambling laws . . . It
was strictly a ftitd raising
fun thing by the young guys
'n gals with movie horse rac-
ing prizes . . . not what
you'd call get rich quickies
. . . 200 attendees helped
the hospital with $1 dona-
tions .. . and enjoyed
themselves while the police
foolishly scratched their
heads at being taken in by
the anonymous caller . . .
Prizes were stuffed ani-
mals, etc.
LOSE WEIGHT pro-
gram at Charter House Bar-
bers has seven folks there
putting $10 in the kitty each
week if they don't take off
two pounds per . . . At end
of six weeks, the one who
has put in the least takes it
all . . . Could- be a boodle
. . . but not the way the
first week went . . . Every-
body lost their two pounds
and the kitty was bare.
DISA 'N DATA . . .
Ever notice how slow people
are getting out of a parking
space when they know you
are waiting for it? . . .
Photog Leo Knight used to
smoke a pipe all the time
.. . now he can't stand any-
thing with a tobacco odor
when he's eating.
Sol Meyers — what a
memory! . . . Example of
"me and my shadow" —
Jimmy Laker and Eli Sprin-
ger . .. Don't forget where
you hide the matza this Pas-
sover . . . Jerry Gurwin's
dog Duke is 20-years old
now and still has some vim
left . . . Scar on his neck is
from a recent cancer opera-
tion . . . Naturally Duke
isn't as spry as he used to
be, but the old boy still has
some get up an go.
Sam Krinsky of Rosen's
Bread, always looking good
when dressed up, but just as
good when in comfortable
leisure clothes . . . Attor-
ney Milt Hubert giving ad-
vice wherever he goes . .
even when stopping for a
fast bite to eat (the fork
eventually gets to Milt's
mouth) . . . Case of the ar-
chitect perhaps being a bit
tipsy . . . apartment build-
ing on Coolidge and Capital
in Oak Park has plenty of
parking in back, when you
go in . . . but no way to get
out .. . except backing into
the street, which the police
don't like.
SEEING BUMPER
STICKERS .. . Fight
smog. Drive a horse (the car
bearing the sign was burn-
ing oil like mad) . . .
"Streakers Tan More
Evenly."

LATION comes that of the
