Baseball Tickets
at 21 Outlets

William H. Willis, direc-
tor of Detroit Tiger baseball
ticket sales, announced the
largest network of ticket
agencies in the club's his-
tory per season has opened
up.
There will be 21 places, in
addition to the advance
ticket office at Tiger Stad-
ium, where fans can pur-
chase tickets this year. Ten
of the agencies are outlets of
the Hudson's ticket service.

MASS CONFUSION
ON first day of that new
law turning right on a red
light or left into a one-way
street . . . Southfield and
10 Mile, lady wanted to turn
right on the red signal but
wasn't quite sure whether it
was okay or not . .. Squad
car pulled over and said it
was proper . . . but not by
stopping in the middle of
the road . . . Another per-
son turned left and it wasn't
a one-way street (even
though he could claim to
only be going one way) . . .
It was April Fool's Day, and
some fun boys in blue were
telling folks it was just a
joke — with straight faces
saying the law didn't go
through in their area.
AL DUBIN of Luster

whose reputation of clean-

father used to do is of com-

few people know about . . .
He's considered a cleaner's
cleaner . . . "If Al Dubin
can't get the spot out," said
one, "nobody can."

LISTENING

THEIR
PARDON
BLUSH . . . say the South-
field Police . . . being duped
by a rumor monger who
claimed recent New Hori-
zons Group, City of Hope,
affair at Sheraton-South-
field was in violation of
state gambling laws . . . It
was strictly a ftitd raising
fun thing by the young guys
'n gals with movie horse rac-
ing prizes . . . not what
you'd call get rich quickies
. . . 200 attendees helped
the hospital with $1 dona-
tions .. . and enjoyed
themselves while the police
foolishly scratched their
heads at being taken in by
the anonymous caller . . .
Prizes were stuffed ani-
mals, etc.

of six weeks, the one who
has put in the least takes it

first week went . . . Every-

DISA 'N DATA . . .
Ever notice how slow people
are getting out of a parking
space when they know you
are waiting for it? . . .
Photog Leo Knight used to
smoke a pipe all the time

thing with a tobacco odor
when he's eating.
Sol Meyers — what a
memory! . . . Example of
"me and my shadow" —
Jimmy Laker and Eli Sprin-

good when in comfortable
leisure clothes . . . Attor-

fast bite to eat (the fork
eventually gets to Milt's
mouth) . . . Case of the ar-

tipsy . . . apartment build-

parking in back, when you
go in . . . but no way to get
